Europe vs America on-line Match (17th-20th May, 2020)

Dear draughts friends,
in this unpleasant Covid-time, where it’s not possible to play live and to meet each other on the draughts-boards, many tournaments are played on-line.
In this path to stay active in playing our loved Sport of mind, under patronage of the Presidents of European and Pan-American Draughts Confederation, thanks to an idea of Jacek Pawlicki
who’s organized and will direct the match, from 17th to 20th May, it will be played the on-line Match “Europe vs America”.
European teams:
– both European Champions (man and women): Michael Semianiuk (BLR), Matrena Nogovitsyna (RUS);
– another 5 top rated players (GMI’s): Jan Groenendijk (NED), Alexander Baliakin (NED), Alexander Getmanski (RUS), Yuriy Anikeev (UKR), Aleksej Domchev (LTU);
– one veteran: Jakov Shaus;
– the Junior’s bronze medalist EC Youth: Gunars Gribuska (LAT);
– the European Champion Junior Girls: Yana Yakubovich (BLR).
The match will be played on lidraughts.org , 15′ +3″, 10 rounds.
