Today the European Draughts Confederation (EDC) launched its new website www.europedraughts.org. The new website gives an overview of members and member states, it’s the primary information channel among members and provides information about competitions.
„The new EDC website is the label and face of draughts also for those, who are not directly involved with draughts,” said Janek Mäggi, President of the European Draughts Confederation. “The new website is visually attractive and modern. I hope it will be well received and actively used for delivering and searching information.”
“The new EDC website is an operative information channel for all European draughts players and others who like draughts,” said Aare Harak, Member of the Board of EDC and webmaster of www.europedraughts.org. “The EDC webpage brings together different virtual draughts playing environments and there is going to be a video and picture gallery. All ideas and proposals how to improve the EDC website, are very welcome. Enjoy using the site!”
