Seaplane Harbour

As a part of the Estonian Maritime Museum, the Seaplane Harbour is one of the most exciting museums in the region.

The Seaplane hangars are architecturally unique in the whole World. The complex was initially completed as part of “the Peter the Greats Naval Fortress”in 1916-1917. The new museum combines both past and present, land and sea.

Currently in the museum is displayed exibition Sea in the Wardrobe. It is an exhibition on the encounter of people with the sea and the encounter of the sea with what is in our wardrobes.

St. Olav’s Church tower

The 13th-century St. Olav’s Church in Tallinn Old Town once boasted the tallest spire in the whole world. Nowadays the 124-metre steeple still dwarfs most of Tallinn’s buildings and remains an important symbol of the town. After a vigorous climb (only April-October) to the top of the stone portion of the tower, visitors are rewarded with a magnificent and dizzying view of all of Old Town, Toompea hill and the port.

Tallinn Zoo

Tallinn Zoo holds the best collection of mountain goats and sheep in the world. There’s an outstanding number of eagles and vultures and a remarkable collection of owl and crane species. As to other animal groups, the choice is more modest. However, Tallinn Zoo claims without boasting that during their existence of a bit more than 70 years they have managed to assemble the most fascinating zoo collection in Northern Europe and achieved significant success in the reproduction of their nurselings.
